The Essentials Mastermind Cohort

Each session in this series focuses on an essential area of branding to build or rebuild your business with a strong foundation. In addition to building a strong brand identity, you will also be guided through building strong relationships with your audience through research and building strong marketing and sales processes using the right tools and resources for your business.

Along with guided coaching by our President, Rogera Toussaint-Michel, you receive weekly video tips and meetings to keep on track as you move toward each milestone. This series also includes guides, slides, and worksheets as resources along the way, so you can keep track of all your progress and use them as references throughout the life of your brand.

Designed to fit around your schedule and avoid competition, these small groups provide support and hold you accountable so you can complete the course while growing your business.

Dedicated Knowledge and Support

Our goal is to build businesses with other entrepreneurs who are just as dedicated to a growth mindset and helping others as we are. So we pick each member based on the value we know they can add to the group and ask for a 3-month commitment – minimum. Each member is also from a different industry so we can build effective relationships and there are just 5 members so we all have time to receive personalized feedback.

Our cohorts meet twice each month and are scheduled around their members’ schedules. Our lessons are available beforehand, so meetings can be used to discuss them.

In addition to those meetings, we host a private LinkedIn group for questions, support, and insights between meetings. So, members have the freedom to reach out to the group on a schedule that works for them and they have access to all members when needed.

Our networking boot camp is for anyone struggling to keep track of, organize, or leverage their networking leads. With three weeks of focused dedication to building processes that work for you and your team, you can start generating and converting more leads with less mess and confusion.

Our Approach to Networking

If you’ve already started your business, then you’ve already started networking.

People often associate networking with events or social media, so it’s easy to forget that everyday business interactions are networking too. The people you email, talk to, and meet while representing your business are all potential leads.

So, this is where we begin – with you. We begin developing a simple brand strategy that works for you at our very first meeting. Then, you get to test it the very next day at an online speed networking event. Why speed networking? So, you get as much practice as you can fit into an hour.

The rest of the boot camp is spent refining and practicing this strategy to make sure it works for your long term.

Training and Support for Networking Strategy

With great strategy comes great responsibility.

Developing the best strategy in the world won’t help you if you can’t execute it. So we train you on the tools and resources you need to execute your strategy. In weeks two and three of the boot camp we introduce you to the client relationship management, email marketing, and social media strategies and resources you need to build long-term relationships with your leads.

Finally, each Friday, we hold open office hours from 12:00-4:00 PM Eastern Time so you receive one-on-one support to perfect your strategy based on your individual needs.

November 02-05: Building Business Relationships

We’ll start off with a meet and greet to jump right into building relationships with our fellow cohorts. Then we’ll jump into Building Business Relationships 101 including general etiquette, organization, and perfecting your elevator pitch.

November 09-12: Nurturing Relationships

Once we have our short description as guides, flesh it out into our brand story. In our group meeting, we’ll share insights from testing our elevator pitches. Then, we’ll get to work on our brand story.

  • 6:00 PM Wednesday: One-on-One Networking

November 16-19: Long-Term Relationships

Finally, we’ll bring it together with a simple action plan for prep, day of, and post-networking. In our group meeting, we’ll discuss insights from our one-on-one meetings. Then we’ll jump into simple ways to research, track, and follow up with your leads long-terms.

A Brief History of MTM Executives

Since it was founded as Urban NYCHE in 2006, MTM Executives has helped small business owners thrive in two of the toughest world markets – New York City and the Greater Boston Area.

While always in communications, we didn’t start in tech but with local, small business events. Having been raised in a family business and with experience in public relations, it was a simple, values-based decision for company founder, Rogera C. Toussaint Michel… Promoting those events on small business budgets, however, wasn’t as easy.

Luckily, Rogera also had a bit of basic computer programming skills. So, along with everyone else who helped source Joomla, she built an event marketing platform for MTM Executives. In 2016, that platform grew into Urban NYCHE Marketing when expanding into Massachusetts and being incorporated.

In 2020 Urban NYCHE Marketing, Inc. rebranded to MTM Executives and turned its surprisingly successful, New England business network into The MTM Institute, a 501c3 nonprofit organization. The MTM Network by The MTM Institute, also Directed by Rogera and a board of directors, now operates internationally.

Today, MTM Executives also operates internationally since partnering with graphic designer, Tammy Tran, to offer clients user experience and user interface design services in the U.S. and Canada. Together, Rogera and Tammy build, manage, and repair brand strategies to connect audiences through shared values. Through #BeautifullyStrategic they also train executives and teams on brand strategy, design, and sales and marketing technology.
