Follow-Through, Review, and Accountability

Now that we have a few tips under our belts, it’s time to review our progress to make sure we’re accountable and following through. If you’re part of our coaching or cohort series, please be sure to email your completed assignments to your coach for review. Then fill out our accountability survey. This will help us help you.

Even if you’re not a part of one of our series, it’s always best to be personally accountable. So review our previous tips, if necessary, and make sure you’ve documented all important updates. This includes the goals you set and their outcomes, updates to your strategies, and information you want to review in the future.

As you’re reviewing your progress and results make note of anything that was missed or that needs to be revisited. Then schedule some time to complete those items. It’s okay if you need to break them up into a few different sessions or steps as long as you are able to complete them when you need to.

This is an essential skill in business. It’s the first step to successful project management and a key ingredient to effective leadership. Making this a habit and mastering it will become a lifelong asset that you can use anywhere.
